Yet another pic from those random red-haired days…there is a lot of product in my hair, several bottles were emptied just to get that “look.”

This is from my hair modeling days. There are several reds being used: “Corvette Red” and “Cherry Bomb.”

Leave it to Gina…she constructed this plaster tampon for one of her 3-D classes at PNCA. I think it’s fantastic…and a little scary.

Because Josh took the digi-cam I was unable to capture any pics with Johnny and Natalie at the Bite of Fort Collins. It was embarressingly sparse due in part to the great wind and rain we had on Saturday. The woman at Ben & Jerry’s said they had to bunker down and avoid getting hit by passing lightening. When we showed up it was soggy and dismal.
The food was good, and I even got hit on by the manager at the Fish restaurant (”Do I know you from somewhere? I think I’ve seen you around…”). In the great words of my sister, “Yup, stiiiill got it!” I was very flattered.
I’m kinda glad Natalie and Johnny did not attend Bas Bleu’s production of “Old Times.” It was an absurdist play, which means you sit through an hour and a half and think: I don’t know what’s going on. What time period are we in? Wait–are we in the present or the past now? I don’t know what’s going on. I APPRECIATED the play, and my buddy, Kurt, was one of three characters, but I sure as hell didn’t enjoy it. The director’s notes instructed me to “just let the play wash over you.” What the crap? It reminded me of really bad modern dance where you don’t know what’s going on, there’s no narrative or theme, and the dancers are flittering all over a chair.

It wouldn’t be fair to start posting pictures of my sister and not include my brother: Sam…aka Sammy, Sam the 3rd, Spammy, Spamspam, the list goes on.
Note: Josh’s face peeking through…

It’s a official: Gina and I are collaborating on our first project together. I’m doing another Dance Connection show in the fall and it will be multi-media. I’m encorporating slides with modern dance and spoken word. Gina will be providing the art for the slides using various mediums such as acrylic, pen and ink, etc. She’s a fantastic artist and is currently attending the Pacific Northwest College of Art. I’ll post some of her work at some future point.

When I called Josh last night at 9:30pm he was sitting outside a 7 Eleven with a beer in one hand and a bottle of water in the other. Vegas is treating him well… Last night I went home after hanging out with JP and Natalie and rented Sex & The City. I drank bourbon on the rocks and watched three episodes back to back. Foolishly, last night all I had for dinner was a bloody mary and ice cream…no wonder I feel kind of lousy this morning…

Tommorrow Josh leaves for Las Vegas. Yup, instead of attending his 10 yr High School Reunion, he’s heading to Sin City with two high school cronies. I fear for him…these cronies are bachelors, and alas, I stole his bachlorhood from him a mere year ago. I’m sure there will be much debauchery I would rather not know about. It’s cool though, I don’t want to be a ball and chain…besides next year is my 10 yr reunion so maybe I’ll take Josh’s lead and run off to the land of lights and glitter. Below is a picture from June 2002 when we visited Las Vegas for the first time. I think my saucy look is due to winning 12 dollars at a quarter slot machine. (That’s a lot! It really is!)

Even though Josh is leaving, Johnny Peel is rolling into town! Yes! That’s right! I’m sure it will be much fun and excitement…and making fun of people. I have a feeling we’ll be making fun of a lot of people…Fort Collins tends to bring that out in Johnny, if I remember correctly. It makes for a hilarious time.

Please, feel free to comment! I need to know you guys are out there and reading, or else I feel like I’m some ego-maniac writing and posting pictures of myself.
