We won’t be getting internet until Wednesday. Right now we’re at a Starbucks in Capitol Hill. Josh is reading the New York Times, and i’m perusing blogs, job openings, etc. Yes, of course, I’m hysterical inside about not having internet access conveniently in my own home. Yes, I am of the New Generation that relies on the web for ALL my information needs.
Next Stop: IKEA!

I remember that was one of the worst things about moving here–there was some awful catch 22 where we couldn’t get a cable operator on the phone because we didn’t have a local telephone number so we ended up having to wait more than a week for the internet. And that was in a town we didn’t know anything about! I kept calling my mom and my friends to look up things like where the Target was and such.

Not the IKEA part, though. That’s awesome.
