I had this all the time at the homeschool resource center, and sometimes it included grandparents and extended family. I got used to it after a while, but yes, it's very exhausting feeling like a bug under a glass. And now---I'm one of the moms with a 3 year old and a baby---ack! And yes, moms need to get out. I guess that being on the other side, I'll just tell you not to worry about the moms. I'm sure they are just watching to make sure that their kid doesn't haul off and clock another kid in class. They know what the little monsters are capable of. Ah, yes, the watching parents.
