I have no idea what context this is in...none at all. I don't think I've ever bought buffalo burgers at Costco. Huh. Still a Costco member, though, singing its praises just a few posts below (i.e. dollar mocha and eye glasses).

I know I'm two years late on the Costco entry you made... But I work there in the administration department and I wanted to tell you a few things if someone else hasn't already done so.

You mentioned buying a huge package of buffalo burgers but not knowing what to do if you don't like them: bring them back! We take back anything at any time. Frozen, rotten, melted, whatever. As long as you have the item in hand, you can return it [With the exception of electronics] - but ANYTHING else at all, can be returned... for as long as you're a Costco member. Even 10 years later, you can return something.

And the sample people are not Costco employees. Costco employees are generally really nice people because we get paid so well, so we love our jobs. The other company is hired into Costco and they're called CDS [Club Demonstration Services]. They're mostly older women who are retired and only want a day or two a week & they get paid significantly less than we do. Therefore, they are sometimes cranky and rude and we get more complaints about them than anyone else, but I used to work for them too [when I was 18... can you imagine that?!] and I hated my job. People are so rude to you. They think that since they pay to shop there, you OWE them a sample =P

Anyway, sorry if you've found this stuff out already over the two years since you actually composed that blog, heh. Hopefully you're still a member =]
